Under the background of the integrated development of sports and tourism, this study focuses on the Anren Bench Dragon, a unique folk cultural and sports activity, and explores its important role and development strategies in contributing to rural revitalization. Using methods such as documentary research and logical analysis, the article provides an in-depth examination of the practical demands and development value of the Anren Bench Dragon in promoting rural revitalization. The research indicates that the practical demands of the Anren Bench Dragon include: the need for ecological and environmental protection and the inheritance of ethnic culture; the need to increase local economic income under the vision of common prosperity; demands related to the management and supply side of the traditional sports cultural industry; and the need to enhance total factor productivity in the sports industry through new productive forces. The analysis also reveals the developmental value of the Anren Bench Dragon: it helps foster industrial prosperity and drives rural economic growth; it effectively enhances governance and improves rural ethical education; it optimizes rural customs and enriches cultural life; it promotes people’s livelihoods and advances rural social development; and it contributes to ecological sustainability and improves the rural environment. Based on the analysis of its practical demands and developmental value, this study suggests that the Anren Bench Dragon can support rural revitalization by improving the industrial chain, strengthening multi-stakeholder support, reinforcing cultural heritage and distinctive features, and promoting the national fitness strategy to enhance physical health. The study may serve as a theoretical reference for related fields.
