Payment & Invoice Policy
This policy outlines the financial protocols, taxation regulations, and payment methods for the Journal of Asia Social Science Practice (JASSP). All financial transactions are processed in compliance with the commercial laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Taxation and Invoicing (Hong Kong Regulations)
The journal is published by SHIHARR PUBLISHING LIMITED in Hong Kong SAR. Authors and institutions should be aware of the following tax implications:
✓ No VAT/GST Charges Under current Hong Kong legislation, there is no Value Added Tax (VAT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), or Sales Tax. The amount quoted in any invoice is the final net amount to be paid.
- Electronic Invoicing: We issue formal Electronic Invoices (PDF) valid for reimbursement globally.
- Official Receipt: An Official Receipt will be issued immediately after payment is confirmed.

We accept payments via International Bank Transfer. Please ensure funds are remitted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).

Refund Policy
- Non-Refundable Condition: Once a service has been completed (e.g., publication of a manuscript), payments are generally non-refundable.
- Exceptions: Refunds may be granted in exceptional circumstances (e.g., duplicate payment) at the discretion of the Editorial Office.
