Instructions for Authors

Before You Begin

Please ensure your manuscript meets the high standards of the Journal of Asia Social Science Practice (JASSP). Before submitting, authors should verify that their work adheres to the journal's Aims and Scope and Journal Policies.

Manuscript Preparation

  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx).
  • Language: The journal accepts manuscripts in English. Authors should ensure the language is clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
  • Template Usage: Authors are strongly advised to use the official journal template (download button above) to ensure correct formatting of margins, fonts, and citation styles.

Selecting the Right Section

During the submission process, you will be asked to select a journal section. Please refer to the following guide to match your manuscript with the appropriate track:

History and Philosophy

Philosophy, Ethics, Archaeology, Chinese History, World History, Museology, and related historical studies.

Economics and Management

Theoretical/Applied Economics, Finance, Statistics, International Business, Digital Economy, Management Science, Public Admin, Accounting, Tourism Management, Library & Info Science.

Law & Political Science

Law, Political Science, Sociology, Ethnology, Marxist Theory, Public Security, Social Work, Intellectual Property, International Affairs.

Submission Process

  1. Register/Login: Create an account or login to the OJS Submission System.
  2. Start Submission: Click "New Submission" and select the appropriate section (see above).
  3. Upload File: Upload your manuscript (Word format) and any supplementary files.
  4. Metadata: Enter the title, abstract, keywords, and contributor details accurately.
  5. Confirmation: Review the submission and click "Finish Submission".

Fees and Copyright

Article Processing Charges (APC): JASSP is a Gold Open Access journal. An APC applies to accepted papers. Please refer to our APC Policy and Payment Policy for details.
