Article Processing Charge

All articles published in the Journal of Asia Social Science Practice (JASSP) are published under a Gold Open Access model. To ensure free and permanent access for readers worldwide and to cover the costs associated with peer review, editorial management, copyediting, typesetting, digital hosting, long-term archiving, and journal operations, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) of 100 USD (US dollars) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
We strongly encourage all authors to plan ahead and ensure the availability of funds to cover the APC prior to submission.

No Submission Fees
JASSP does not charge a submission fee, and no fees apply to articles that are rejected after peer review. Certain categories of publications, including Editorials, Corrigenda, Addendums, Retractions, and Comments, are published free of charge.

Taxes
The prices quoted do not include any value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or any other applicable sales taxes. Taxes may be charged in addition to the price shown, where required by local laws and regulations. The applicable tax amount will be calculated at the point of payment and clearly stated on the invoice. Authors who possess a VAT, GST, or sales tax identification number should provide it when requested to avoid unnecessary charges.

Waivers and Discounts
To support global access to knowledge, JASSP offers a transparent waiver and discount policy:
Automatic 50% waiver on the APC for manuscripts where the corresponding author is based in any of the eligible countries listed in the JASSP Waiver Policy.

Full waivers may be considered on a case-by-case basis for researchers who demonstrate a lack of funding and whose manuscripts make significant contributions to the field.
