Open Access Policy
Open Access Policy
The Journal of Asia Social Science Practice (JASSP) is a fully Gold Open Access journal. This means that all articles are made immediately and permanently available online, free of charge to everyone, everywhere, upon publication. We believe that ensuring the broadest possible dissemination of knowledge accelerates innovation and fosters global collaboration.
What is Open Access?
Open Access (OA) is a publishing model that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of research articles. In accordance with the definition established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), users are empowered to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles for any lawful purpose without financial, legal, or technical barriers.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, even commercially, as long as the original author and source are properly credited.
Benefits for Authors
Publishing with JASSP offers distinct advantages designed to maximize the impact of your research:
Quality Control
Commitment to Open Access does not compromise quality. Shiharr maintains rigorous standards for scholarly publishing. All submissions undergo a strict double-blind peer-review process ensuring scientific validity and ethical integrity. An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to accepted manuscripts to cover these editorial and production costs.
Self-Archiving Policy In addition to our central archiving, authors are encouraged to deposit their published Articles (Version of Record) in institutional repositories or other subject-based repositories immediately upon publication.
